When or if required, we can supply a structural engineer to visit the project to carry out: building surveys, defect surveys, party wall surveys and home buyer surveys.
Our Technical Surveys supply a property by property in-depth report on the measures, material, labour and other resources that are required to complete the scope of works on that specific property. The report highlights any previous findings such as asbestos surveys, specific building requirements or any possible delays such as the need to contact utility companies for the alteration of electrical or gas supplies or preparing a delivery plan arranging access for materials or scaffold.
We also offer a Guarantee service, where our surveyors work with the principle contractors carrying out a four stage quality assurance survey. The reports and evidence gathered mentor the principle contractor to meet the standards required to gain BBA status and work towards supplying a recognised guarantee.
We have a team of qualified Domestic Energy Assessors (DEA) and Green Deal Assessors (GDA) who provide an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) and an Occupancy Assessment on the property. This is information that may be required by organisations such as ECO as part of their funding requirements. As well as offering Domestic EPC’s we can now also undertake Commercial EPC’s.
Our team also consists of P402 Certified Asbestos surveyors, which carry out pre works asbestos surveys on each property, a property specific report is produced and supplied to the principle contractor who can then produce the necessary Risk Assessments and Methods statements to complete the works safely.
